This is our view of the cooperation that we are seeking and we see that
there is a very promising future for this company specially these days
with the very high increase in the oil prices.
If you think after discussion with the chinese that they prefer another
scenario for the cooperation please inform me and we will negotiate.
We are a group of partners working in the real-estate field as a family
business in Saudi Arabia, the world largest oil producer. The experts
estimated that the power generation & water desalination projects in our
country will cost about 200 billion US$ in the coming 15 years. We notice
that the opportunity for the contracting corporation which work in this
field is extremely high. Moreover, the potential of success at such
climate is very promising. Because of that and since we have very good
connections with electric and water companies, we decided to establish a
joint - venture company with one of the biggest international electric
and/or mechanical contactors.
We started by searching the international market and after a long
comprehensive study, we choose our partner to be from the Far East region,
preferably china, because they have wide experience and excellent
technology with convenient prices.
The company will be 50% for the Chinese company and 50% for us the Saudi
partners. The whole capital of the company will be about 300,000 US$.
The management of the company will be shared by the tow groups, however
the Chinese contractor will be responsible on the technical and projects
management and execution.
We think that we need to start by the following steps:
? Getting the government license for this company to start practice
? Getting the classification as an A class for electrical and
mechanical contracts from the Ministry of Municipalities and Rural
Affairs, the new joint ?venture company classification will depend on
Chinese＇ company classification, previous experience, annual report and
budget.
? Register our company as a class A contractor on the related
companies for example (Saudi Electricity Company, Saline Water Conversion
Corporation, ARAMCO etc?
? Register your products manufacturers as an approved
manufacturers at these companies, so that we can supply these products in
our project
After that we will bid on the coming project not only the huge projects
but even the medium size projects which cost tens of millions.
We will get the project information send it to you for study or the
Chinese staff which are with us in Saudi Arabia will study it and make the
bid.
After executing the projects the net profit will be divided equally on the
two groups also all the assets of the company are owned equally by the two
groups.
There are many grid stations, over head line construction and many other
projects done each year, I am sure that together we can compete other
companies in getting these projects. Also, for the IPP and IWPP projects
it will be easier for us to study and bid while you have already entered
the Saudi market rather than study it from outside.
